Allocations may only be accessed by the FCC Administrator and the Reimbursement Manager.
Allocations are based on individual states and are subject to updates each program year. Allocations are calculated annually. The Program Year for the NDBEDP runs from July 1 through June 30th of the following year, which coincides with the Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) fund year. During the program year process, first the FCC Administrator will set the program year budget. Once the budget is initiated, the Claims Reimbursement Manager or the FCC Administrator will create a revision, adding the state’s allocation. The second approver, a different individual than the first, who is either the Reimbursement Manager or the FCC Administrator, will approve the final transaction.
