National Outreach helps raise awareness of the iCanConnect program across the United States and its territories. These efforts are led by the Perkins School for the Blind, the FCC-designated National Outreach Entity, rather than by individual state programs. National Outreach includes creating accessible resources, working with organizations that serve people who are deaf-blind, and increasing referrals to state NDBEDP programs. By funding these activities separately, the FCC provides consistent national outreach while allowing state programs to focus on local outreach and community partnerships.
