Attestors

An Attestor is the qualified professional who verifies that an applicant meets the NDBEDP eligibility requirements for deaf-blindness. The attestor must have direct knowledge of the individual's condition and confirm that the applicant meets the FCC's definition of deaf-blind. Attestor is a required field when creating a consumer record. An attestor must be associated with the consumer before the record can be completed.

You only need to create an attestor record once. After it has been added, you can select it from the drop-down list and associate it with any number of consumer records, so you don't have to enter the same information again.
