Reallocations may only be accessed by the FCC Administrator and the Reimbursement Manager.
Reallocations are changes the FCC makes to a certified program's annual NDBEDP funding allocation during the program year to help ensure available funds are used where they are needed most. Initial allocations are announced at the beginning of each funding year, but they may be adjusted if a certified entity expects it will not use all of its funding or if the FCC determines that another program could make better use of the available funds. Programs that need additional funding to cover reimbursement claims may also receive more funding through the reallocation process if funds are available.
Any reallocation updates the program's available funding and spending limits. This helps make the best use of the NDBEDP's annual funding and allows more eligible individuals to receive equipment and related services.
