Travel expenses can be reimbursed when travel is necessary to provide services to eligible consumers or support approved program activities. Reimbursable expenses may include technician travel time, mileage, transportation, airfare, lodging, meals, and hired driver costs when needed. Travel expenses for interpreters and other auxiliary aid personnel are also reimbursable and are included under the Travel category. Consumers may also be reimbursed for travel when they need to travel for an assessment, equipment installation, or training. This includes travel within the state and, with prior approval from the NDBEDP Administrator, travel to another state.
Eligible Expenses for Costs related to travel can be found in the NDBEDP Filing Instructions or in Eligible Expenses for the Centralized Database.
