Installation covers the work needed to set up and configure equipment so consumers can use telecommunications, the internet, and advanced communications services. Installation may include setting up hardware and software, configuring accessibility features, connecting peripheral devices, testing the equipment to make sure it works correctly, and providing any materials the consumer needs to get started. Installation is separate from training and is recorded as its own service in the Centralized Database, even if both are provided during the same visit.
Eligible Expenses for Costs related to Installations can be found in the NDBEDP Filing Instructions or in Eligible Expenses for the Centralized Database.
